Welcome! My psychotherapy practice for individuals and couples, located in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood, provides a safe environment for honest personal exploration.
My goal is to help you understand yourself – and the influence of your past and present – so you can gain an increased sense of your personal power and choice. I can help you notice feelings and patterns that lead to greater self-awareness and awareness of yourself in your relationships with others. My role is to be curious and compassionate as we work collaboratively.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master's in Social Work, both from the University of Washington. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric, eating disorder and chemical dependency settings, which gives me a solid foundation to work with people coping with these issues.
It is my great privilege to participate in continuous training and ongoing supervision with a number of professional organizations in the Puget Sound region. I am a member of the Northwest Family Development Center, the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study, the Washington State Society for Clinical Social Workers and the Northwest Coalition for Mental Health Professionals and Consumers.
